HOH’s One-Minute Recess: Spotted

HOH knows some journos who basically live at the Newseum, but the museum on reporting and news coverage drew more than the writing nerds Monday.

A tipster spotted Rep. Brett Guthrie studying the Newseum’s outdoor display of newspapers sporting pictures of the late Osama bin Laden around 8:30 p.m.

“He wanted to see the Kentucky newspapers and looked at the Louisville Courier-Journal,” said the Kentucky Republican’s spokeswoman, Courtney Norris, in an email to HOH.

Norris said the graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point was sauntering down Pennsylvania Avenue with a constituent when he spotted a small crowd surrounding the display. He “wanted to be part of it,” she said.
