Anthony Foti has been hired as chief of staff for Rep. Dennis A. Ross, R-Fla. Foti was deputy chief of staff. He has worked as a senior adviser at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld. He served as district director for former Rep. Bill Paxon, R-N.Y., worked as a transportation advisory committee coordinator for the Bush-Cheney presidential transition, and was director of external affairs for the 2008 Republican National Convention.

David J. Christopher has been named chief of operations for the U.S. Copyright Office. Christopher was chief of the office’s information and records division. He also worked as associate chief operations officer and special assistant to the register of copyrights for the office.

Eric Dell has been appointed senior vice president of government affairs at the National Automatic Merchandising Association. Dell was formerly chief of staff to Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C. He also has worked as vice president of The Keelen Group and as vice president of Valis and Keelen.

Maggie Wilderotter has been named a member of the Business Roundtable Committee. She is chairman and CEO of Frontier Communications. She serves as chairwoman of President Barack Obama’s national security telecommunications advisory committee. Wilderotter also has worked as senior vice president of worldwide public sector at Microsoft.

Michael A. Andrews has joined the government advocacy and public policy practice at the law and lobbying firm King & Spalding as a senior counsel. Andrews, a former six-term Democratic member of the House from Texas, was counsel at Levick Strategic Communications.

Thomas W. “T.J.” Aldous Jr. has joined the private client and fiduciary services team at Williams Mullen as a partner. Aldous has worked as an attorney at two law and lobbying firms, McGuireWoods and Baker & Hostetler.
