Chris Vieson has been named director of floor operations for the leadership office of Rep. Eric Cantor, R-Va. He was previously deputy floor director. He also has worked as floor assistant to Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Mo. Vieson also has worked as a policy analyst and committee liaison for the House Republican Conference.
Aaron Cutler has been named senior adviser for policy and outreach in Cantor’s leadership office. Cutler was deputy policy director for the House Energy and Commerce Committee. He also has served as energy counsel on the committee. He worked as an associate for capital markets at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft.
R. Dayle Lynch has been appointed as a senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer at the Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corp. Dayle was vice president of finance at U.S. Silica Holdings Inc. He has also worked as executive vice president of finance at Allied Capital Corp.
Lu Zawistowich has been hired as a senior public policy adviser in the health care, FDA and life sciences practice group at Patton Boggs. She also has served as the founding executive director of MACPAC. She also worked as the acting deputy director of the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight at the Health and Human Services Department.
Erin Moseley has been promoted to president of the support solutions sector at BAE Systems. Moseley was senior vice president of government relations. She also has worked as the president of Principled Strategies. Moseley also served as managing director of Porton Capital Washington and was special adviser to the deputy director of the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency.
Stephen Whisnant has been hired as director of philanthropy at the National Democratic Institute. He was managing director of the U.S. Olympic Committee. He also has served as a campaign director at the U.S. Institute of Peace.
Ned Rauch-Mannino has been hired as a government relations specialist at Ridge Policy Group. He was a senior adviser at Econsult Solutions. He also has worked as director of policy and research at the Urban Industry Initiative.
Bernadette Rappold has joined the energy and environmental practice at law and lobbying firm McGuireWoods as a partner. Rappold was director of the special litigation and projects division in the EPA’s office of civil enforcement. She has worked as director of the site remediation and enforcement staff in the EPA’s federal facilities enforcement office. She has also worked as an attorney at Berger & Montague and Pepper Hamilton.
J.D. Crouch II has been promoted to CEO of QinetiQ North America, a technology services company. Crouch is president of the company’s technology solutions group. He has served in the White House as assistant to the president and deputy national security adviser under President George W. Bush. He has also served as U.S. ambassador to Romania and as assistant secretary of Defense for international security policy.
Marius Schwartz has joined the antitrust and competition practice at Bates White as an academic affiliate. Schwartz was chief economist of the Federal Communications Commission. He has worked in the Justice Department’s antitrust division as economics director of enforcement and as acting deputy assistant attorney general for economics. He also has served as a senior economist for the President´s Council of Economic Advisers under President Bill Clinton.
Chad N. Boudreaux has been promoted to chief compliance officer at shipbuilding company Huntington Ingalls Industries. Boudreaux is corporate vice president for litigation, investigations and compliance. He has worked as deputy chief of staff of the Homeland Security Department under Bush. He also has worked as an attorney at law and lobbying firm Baker Botts.
