Capitol Lens: Her Place in History

President Bill Clinton and top lawmakers honored civil rights pioneer Rosa Parks on June 15, 1999, with the Congressional Gold Medal. On Wednesday, Congress and President Barack Obama will dedicate a statue of the late Parks that will reside in the Capitol’s Statuary Hall.
