Former Rep. Bob Ney’s Book Released Today

Former Rep. Bob Ney’s new book, Sideswiped: Lessons Learned Courtesy of the Hit Men on Capitol Hill, is being released today. Ney, former chairman of the House Administration Committee, will also be at the Monocle Wednesday evening to promote it. Ney served 17 months in prison for conspiracy and making false statements. Amazon is temporarily out of stock of the book, but provides this description: “As a six-term member of congress, Bob found himself caught up in a culture of greed, backstabbing, and corruption that eventually destroyed his career. In his new book, Bob recounts the events leading up to his resignation, his own guilt, and how a member of congress and the Bush Administration officials played leading roles in both the Abramoff scandal and Bob’s own downfall.”
