Defense Firms Ship Funds To Appropriators

Huntington Ingalls Industries, a designer and builder of nuclear and non-nuclear ships for the Navy and Coast Guard, reported its PAC gave $121,000 to federal candidates and committees during February. The PAC gave to new chairman Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) on the Senate Appropriations Committee and Jim Inhofe (R-OK) and Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) who serve on the Senate Armed Services Committee. The PAC gave to House Appropriations Committee chairman Hal Rogers (R-KY) and recipients Bill Owens (D-NY); Ander Crenshaw (R-FL); John Culberson (R-TX): Jo Bonner (R-AL); Marcy Kaptur (D-OH); Kay Granger (R-TX); Ken Calvert (R-CA); Jim Moran (D-VA); Pete Visclosky (D-IN); and Steve Womack (R-AR).

The PAC also gave to House Armed Services Committee chairman Buck McKeon (R-CA) and recipients Duncan Hunter (R-CA); Dutch Ruppersberger (D-MD); Joe Wilson (R-SC); Martha Roby (R-AL:); Scott Rigell (R-VA); Mac Thornberry (R-TX); and Walter Jones (R-NC).
