Former Senate Democratic Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D-SD), now with DLA Piper, and his wife, Linda Hall Daschle now with LHD & Associates, were listed in a 48-hour contribution report filed yesterday as having donated $1,000 each to the campaign of Elizabeth Colbert Busch in the South Carolina special primary race.

Former Rep. Howard Berman (D-CA), former chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, is joining Covington & Burling.

Former Rep. Jerry Costello (D-IL) has started his own firm to provide services and advocacy for trade associations and businesses. The Jerry Costello Group LLC will have offices in Illinois and Washington, D.C.

The American Enterprise Institute announced former Senator Joe Lieberman (I-CT) would co-chair its American Internationalism Project with former Sen. Jon Kyl (R-AZ).

Former Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) has joined Nixon Peabody. See news item below.
