Watchdog Groups Question Whether President Indirectly Solicited Funds

In a letter sent today to President Obama, several watchdog groups questioned whether he was complying with the Ethics in Government Act’s ban on solicitation of gifts by executive branch officials, including the President. View Democracy 21 and Campaign Legal Center press release.
