Honeywell Turns Up Heat on Lobbying

Honeywell Inc.

 has amended its 2012 fourth quarter lobbying expenditures by a million dollars. Honeywell reported it spent $2,670,000 on lobbying in the fourth quarter of 2012 compared to the previously reported $1,670,000 when it ranked 69th among all organizations lobbying.  This jump in spending moves Honeywell to 29th. Honeywell International Inc. is a producers of consumer products (such as thermostats), engineering services and aerospace systems. Their lobbying efforts on the Department of Defense’s sequestration actions, Congressional action on spending for the remainder of FY2013, and the President’s FY2014 Budget submission, may have helped reduce concerns about the future.
