Lobbyist Switches Firms and Brings Along Clients

, former chief of staff for twelve years to then Wisconsin Senator Herb Kohl (D-Wis.), moved in early May from one lobby firm to another and has brought along his expertise and three clients to his new firm. One of those has a long time connection since it is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Bock, formerly with Capitol Hill Strategies, is now with Holland & Knight LLP in Washington, D.C.  He has brought Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company to his new firm and has registered to lobby on “tax treatment of inside buildup; tax treatment of life settlements.” Northwestern Mutual will also continue to use Capitol Hill Strategies.

Kathryn Lehman.

Lehman had been a subcommittee chief counsel on the House Judiciary Committee, and former special assistant to the Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.). She also served as policy director for then House Majority Whip Tom DeLay (R-Texas), and as director of coalitions and outreach for Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.).

A third client, Comcast Corporation, has also been brought along to Holland & Knight.
