Dems Spend $281K Against Rep. Cotton

A Democratic super PAC reported it spent $281K on television advertising against a freshman congressman who is considering running against Sen. Mark Pryor, D-Ark., in 2014.

The Patriot Majority USA, a Democratic super PAC, reported yesterday it paid Waterfront Strategies (DC) $266,631 on June 27 for independent expenditures on television advertising of an ad called “Glitz.” The PAC also paid Ralston Lapp Media (DC) $14,883 on June 27 for television production of the ad.

The ad opposes freshman Rep. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., who is being encouraged by Republicans to run against incumbent Sen. Mark Pryor, who is up for re-election in 2014.
