Chamber of Commerce Spends $19 Million on 3 Months Lobbying

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce increased its lobbying during the second quarter by more than $2 million.

The two accounts of the Chamber reported they spent $18,900,000 on lobbying in just three months. That is an increase of $2,330,000 over what they spent in the first quarter.

The main account of the Chamber of Commerce of the U.S. reported it spent $13,970,000 during the second quarter, up from the $10,140,000 spent in the first quarter of 2013.  The second account, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute For Legal Reform, reported it spent $4,930,000 in the second quarter, down from the $6,430,000 spent in the first quarter.
