Several Democratic super PACs have received more than $5 million in new receipts this year, over half from labor union accounts, according to new financial reports filed Thursday.

The Senate Majority PAC, a Democratic super PAC, has reported receipts of $3,035,012 from Jan. 1 to June 30.

Major donors include numerous organizations: Massachusetts Teachers Association $700,000; American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees $250,000; Priorities USA Action $250,000; Working for Working Americans $250,000; Home Health Advocacy Coalition $125,000; Engineers Political Education Committee $100,000; NEA Advocacy Fund $100,000; Service Employees International Union COPE $100,000; American Federation of Teachers COPE Voluntary $100,000; CFS II, Inc. (OK) $100,000; among others.

Major individual donors include: George Marcus (chairman, Marcus & Millichap Company, Calif.) $250,000; Jeffrey Katzenberg (CEO, Dream Works Animation, Calif.) $100,000; William Little (chairman, George Little Management LLC, N.Y.) $100,000; John Koza (retired, CA) $50,000; Wilkes & McHugh, P.A., Pa.) $50,000; among others.

Expenditures included $1,364,381 spent on independent expenditures against Massachusetts Republican Gabriel Gomez; $175,000 for strategic consulting services; $165,355 for research (including $124,105 paid to Peter D. Hart Research Associates); $107,656 for salaries; $100,100 for fundraising consulting services; $63,705 paid to Perkins Coie for legal services; among others.

House Majority PAC, a Democratic super PAC, reported it had receipts of $1,463,126 for the period May 28 to June 30.

Major donors included several organizations including: The United Association of Journeyman & Apprentices of the Pipe Fitting Industry $150,000; United Steel Workers Political Action Fund $150,000; American Postal Workers Union Committee on Political Action $125,000; American Postal Workers Union Separate Segregated Account $125,000; International Association of Fire Fighters FIREPAC $100,000; United Food & Commercial Workers International Union Active Ballot Club $100,000; IBEW PAC Education Fund $100,000; among others.

Major individual donors included: Bernard Schwartz (chairman & CEO, BLS Investments LLC, N.Y.) $250,000; S. Donald Sussman (founder & chairman, Paloma Partners LLC, Maine) $250,000; among others.

Expenditures included $50,571 spent on independent expenditures against Rep. John Kline, R-Minn., including $48,202 for online advertising. The committee also spent $49,215 on salary: $44,167 n polling services; among others.

DGA Action, a Democratic super PAC reported it had receipts of $1,235,505 during June, including $1 million from the Democratic Governors Association, a Section 527 organization. A $500,000 contribution was received on June 11 and on June 26.
