A complaint has been filed against former Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa., and his 2012 presidential campaign for allegedly directing a $1 million donor to a super PAC that supported Santorum.

The Campaign Legal Center and Democracy 21 filed a complaint today with the Federal Election Commission against Rick Santorum and his campaign staff who are prohibited from directing more than $5,000 to a Super PAC.
