Independent Conservative Ad Calls McConnell ‘Too Chicken’

A national conservative organization is buying another round of media ads against Sen. Mitch McConnell, the Senate minority leader, who is up for re-election in Kentucky in 2014.

The Madison Project Inc. reported to the Federal Election Commission Thursday afternoon that it had paid $14,999.97 on Sept. 26 to Intermarkets Inc. of Reston, Va., for media buys as independent expenditures opposing McConnell.

The ad, which will run for the next several days during the 24th World Chicken Festival in Kentucky, calls McConnell a “finger lickin’ fraud” and “too chicken” to oppose Obama’s spending and debt policies.
