Sen. Elizabeth Warren Pays for a Level Playing Field

PAC For A Level Playing Field, the leadership PAC of Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., reported today it had contributed $88,600 in the third quarter of 2013 to Democratic federal candidates, including incumbents and challengers. This brings her total contributions given this year to $187,200.

The PAC has raised $407,738 from Jan. 1 through Sept. 26, including $87,353 in the third quarter. The PAC has $173,820 in cash on hand as of Sept. 26.

The PAC has contributed the maximum $10,400 to four Senators who had contributed to her campaign last year, including Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn.; Sen. Richard J. Durbin, D-Ill.; Sen. Kay Hagan, D-N.C.; and Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore.

The PAC has also contributed the maximum to Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H.; Sen. Mary L. Landrieu, D-La.; and Sen. Jack Reed, D-R.I.

The following Senators were given $10,000: Sen. Mark Begich, D-Alaska, and Sen. Mark Pryor, D-Ark.

Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., received $5,200; Sen. Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, received $5,200; Sen. Chris Coons, D-Del., received $5,000; Sen. Edward J. Markey, D-Mass., received $5,200.

New Senate candidates have also received funds. Alison Grimes, D-Ky. received $5,000; Michelle Nunn, D-Ga. received $5,000; Rep. Bruce Braley, D-Iowa, received $5,000; Rep. Gary Peters, D-Mich., received $5,000; Cory Booker, D-N.J., received $5,000; Natalie Tennant, D-W.Va., received $10,000; and Rick Weiland, D-S.D., received $5,000.

The PAC also gave $5,200 to Rep. Richard Neal, D-Mass.; Rep. Jim McGovern, D-Mass.; Rep. Niki Tsongas, D-Mass.; Rep. Joseph Kennedy III, D-Mass.; Rep. John Tierney, D-Mass.; Rep. Michael E. Capuano, D-Mass.; Rep. Stephen F. Lynch, D-Mass.; and Rep. William Keating, D-Mass.
