Supreme Court Appeal Ends for Lobbyist Kevin Ring’s Gift Giving Conviction

Kevin Ring had appealed to the Supreme Court after his 2011 corruption and honest services fraud conviction. He had been sentenced to 20 months in prison, followed by 30 months of supervised release. He had been a lobbyist at Preston Gates Ellis & Rouvelas Meeds LLP, Greenberg Traurig, and Barnes & Thornburg LLP. Many of his clients were Indian tribes involved with casinos.
