Conservative Super PAC Spends $75K Opposing Liz Cheney
A conservative Republican super PAC has paid for television ads opposing Republican Liz Cheney in the Wyoming U.S. Senate race.
The American Principles Fund, a Republican super PAC, has reported to the Federal Election Commission it spent $75,000 on television ads opposing Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., in the 2014 U.S. Senate race in Wyoming. The ad criticizes Cheney as not being sufficiently conservative enough on the issue of gay marriage. The Wyoming ad started to run on 10/7. Cheney is running against Sen. Mike Enzi, R-Wyo.
The PAC paid $15,000 to Galloway Pictures LLC in Little Rock, Arkansas. The paid also paid $60,000 to the Wickers Group in San Francisco, California, for television advertising.
