Pelosi Puts Her Money on a Dozen Candidates

The campaign committee of House Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., has given $2,000 campaign contributions to each of 10 new faces for the next Congress. She also contributed to two members for their re-election.

The Nancy Pelosi for Congress committee reported it had receipts of $260,462 and disbursements of $263,918 during the third quarter, leaving $418,603 cash on hand as of Sept. 30. The committee gave $181,000 to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and $24,000 to federal candidates.

The committee gave $2,000 each to the campaigns of Gwen Graham in Florida-02; Staci Appel in Iowa-03; Jerry Cannon in Michigan-01; Pam Byrnes in Michigan-07; Erin Bilbray in Nevada-03; Roxanne Lara in New Mexico-02; Dominic Recchia in New York-11; Martha Robertson in New York-23; Kevin Strouse in Pennsylvania-08; and Suzanne Patrick in Virginia-02.

The committee also gave $2,000 each to Rep. Bill Foster in Illinois-11 and Stephen Horsford in Nevada-04.
