Planned Parenthood Spends $1 Million on Virginia Gubernatorial Race

A super PAC of Planned Parenthood has spent almost all its funds available on television ads in the Virginia gubernatorial race.

Planned Parenthood Votes reported Friday it had spent $1,099,846 in September on broadcast and cable ad buys against Ken Cuccinelli, R-Va., in the Virginia gubernatorial race.

The super PAC had built up funds from June through August and started September with $1,149,555 cash on hand. At the end of September it was left with $73,746 along with debts of $59,919.

It’s top donor in September was Naomi Aberly from Boston, MA., who gave $50,000 on 9/17.

The PAC also gave $83,000 to Planned Parenthood Virginia PAC, and $25,000 to America Votes Action Fund.. The PAC spent $10,000 on an online ad buy in Virginia.
