Texas Super PAC Spends $744K Against Stockman

A conservative Texas super PAC has spent $744K on media opposing Rep. Steve Stockman for the U.S. Senate.

The Texans for a Conservative Majority, a Republican-oriented hybrid super PAC supporting the re-election of Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, reported to the Federal Election Commission today that it had paid Target Enterprises $744,461 on 1/8, as independent expenditures for the production and placement of television advertising opposing Rep. Steve Stockman, R-Texas, in this year’s Republican primary.

The PAC reported having $2,195,028 cash on hand as of 6/30. View earlier posting on the PAC’s activity.
