Hoyer, Cantor Spar Over Unemployment Benefits (Video)

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Minority Whip Steny H. Hoyer sparred over unemployment benefits Friday as they discussed next week’s floor schedule.

Cantor also complained about the lack of bipartisan support for<a title="House GOP Issues Unemployment Insurance Talking Points" href="https://blogs.rollcall.com/218/house-gop-unemployment-insurance-talking-points/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"> a GOP job-training bill</a> and suggested that Congress should be correcting the problem of chronic unemployment through such training.
