Sen. Tim Scott announced Wednesday that he’s hosting an event honoring the country’s black senators, which will feature panel discussion with at least four members of the group.

The South Carolina Republican’s office said the black history month event would take place Feb. 25 at the Library of Congress. Former Democratic Sens. Carol Moseley Braun and Roland Burris of Illinois, as well as William “Mo” Cowan, D-Mass., are scheduled to attend.

Invites have also been extended to three other living African-Americans who have served in the chamber: current Democratic Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey, former Sen. Edward Brooke of Massachusetts, and of course, President Barack Obama.

The panel discussion is being billed as “Honoring our Past and Celebrating our Future: Discussing Personal Journeys and a Nation’s Progress with America’s Black Senators.” Senate Chaplain Barry Black will moderate the panel.
