A new super PAC has over $1 million in the bank and could make independent expenditures that have a big impact on the race to fill the seat vacated today by Rep. Trey Radel, R-Fla.  

Values are Vital, reported  it had receipts of $1,010,000 and no disbursements from 11/26 to 12/31. Treasurer Anthony Farhat of Cape Coral, Florida registered the super PAC on 11/26. In December, the treasurer was changed to Ronald Firman, with Anthony Farhat as chairman.  

The donors were Martin Burns (attorney, Las Vegas, NV) $485,000, and Ronald Firman (retired, Miami, FL) $525,000.  

Farhat, Burns and Firman contributed to the 2012 primary campaign of state representative Paige Kreegel, R-Fla., who lost to Trey Radel.  

In November 2013, Rep. Trey Radel pleaded guilty to cocaine possession. Radel resigned from Congress today.
