The Intelligencer / Wheeling (OH) News-Register  writes: “U.S. senators are debating a major energy bill. Among provisions for which there is bipartisan support is one involving new liquified natural gas terminals at seaports, so the fuel can be exported to other countries.”  

“In the meantime, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., refuses to allow an amendment that would clear the way for construction of the Keystone XL pipeline.”  

The piece concludes: “For years we complained the U.S. did not have a comprehensive energy policy. Now, apparently, we have one that actually steps backward in terms of energy security and reasonably priced energy.”
