Majority Leader Harry Reid was a little disappointed he missed the crowning of Miss USA over the weekend.

“I, along with all Nevada, congratulate Miss USA, Nia Sanchez, on her well-deserved victory,” Reid said. “I wish her the very best as she pursues the crown of Miss Universe and as she undertakes her duties as a global ambassador.”

In light of Reid’s comments, Capitol Lens decided to dig into our archives to showcase congressmen enjoying sash-clad women around the Hill and on the road. Enjoy a few of the many moments Roll Call photographers caught members enjoying one of the “perks” of the job.
