The National Republican Congressional Committee raised $900,000 Monday at its annual House leadership fundraiser in Manhattan, according to a source familiar with the event.

Speaker John A. Boehner, Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy were all in attendance at the New York City event, held just days before the House GOP conference will hold leadership elections.

Cantor lost his primary in Virginia last week and will step down as majority leader July 31. McCarthy faces Idaho Rep. Raúl Labrador in his bid for majority leader, but he is expected to cruise to victory on Thursday.

None of the contenders for McCarthy’s whip position were in attendance.

Other Republican Representatives at the fundraiser included: NRCC Chairman Greg Walden of Oregon, NRCC Deputy Chairman Lynn Westmoreland of Georgia, Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling of Texas, NRCC Deputy Finance Chairwoman Ann Wagner of Missouri and Republican Conference Chairwoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers of Washington, among others.

The NRCC has been outraised by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee this cycle. In April, the DCCC brought in $3 million more than the NRCC. The NRCC ended April with $32.3 million in cash on hand, and the DCCC had $43.3 million.

May fundraising numbers are due to the Federal Election Commission by June 20.
