Obama Prepared for Iraq Action Without Congress

President Barack Obama said Thursday he’s prepared to send up to 300 military advisers to Iraq and launch attacks against the terrorist group ISIL without getting new permission from Congress.

“American forces will not be returning to combat in Iraq, but we will help Iraqis as they take the fight to terrorists who threaten the Iraqi people in the region and American interests as well,” Obama said.
