Reid: GOP Governing ‘Crisis by Crisis’

Responding to a question about Democrats’ strategy to block a Republican appropriation measure Tuesday, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid quickly pivoted to a full-out critique of the GOP-led Congress, saying Republicans are “creating crises” on issue after issue. “This Republican-led Congress is leading the nation crisis by crisis that they create on their own,” Reid said. “There’s no reason to have a crisis on these appropriations bills, there’s no reason to have a crisis on spending for a highway bill, there’s no reason the Ex-Im Bank is going to go dark at the end of this month. They’re creating these on their own.”
