Reid: Unimportant Who Faces Cortez-Masto in Nevada Senate Race

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid fielded questions about the open Nevada Senate race Tuesday, following an announcement earlier in the day that Republican Gov. Brian Sandoval would not run for the seat being vacated by Reid. “We have a winner in Catherine Cortez-Masto,” Reid said. “She’s a wonderful, longtime Nevadan — in fact, lifetime Nevadan — and it doesn’t matter who runs against her, she’s going to be just fine.” Sandoval’s official exit from the race creates an opening for other Republicans to enter the contest, namely Rep.
