Bomb Threat Causes Another Committee Evacuation

A House Foreign Affairs hearing in the Rayburn House Office Building was evacuated for more than 20 minutes Tuesday for a reported bomb threat. Capitol Police found nothing hazardous after clearing the room.The evacuation comes one week after a Senate hearing and a White House press briefing were evacuated hours apart for reported bomb threats.
