House Extends TAA Reconsideration Period Through July 30

The House voted 236-189 on Tuesday to extend the House’s ability to reconsider last week’s failed vote on Trade Adjustment Assistance legislation through July 30. The Rules Committee on Monday evening added TAA reconsideration language to its rule governing floor debate for an unrelated measure: the fiscal 2016 authorization of intelligence programs.
