Full Obama Statement on Supreme Court Gay Marriage Ruling

President Barack Obama made his second-straight statement from the Rose Garden Friday following another historic Supreme Court decision legalizing same-sex marriage throughout the United States. “This morning, the Supreme Court recognized that the Constitution guarantees marriage equality,” Obama said in a nine-minute speech. “In doing so, they have reaffirmed that all Americans are entitled to the equal protection of the law; that all people should be treated equally regardless of who they are or who they love.” Read more.
