Pelosi Outlines Framework for ISIS AUMF

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said Thursday the Obama administration should provide additional assistance to Jordan in the fight against the Islamic State following the death of a Jordanian pilot earlier in the week. Pelosi also said conversations were ongoing with Democratic committee ranking members about an Islamic State AUMF, but that authorization language would center around time, geography and scope of a campaign.
