Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid on Wednesday shot down comments made earlier by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who said he was “skeptical” an international tax overhaul would be enough to bridge a funding divide on a highway bill.“I just hope that he understands that we will find disgusting and very offensive to what’s good for our country if he brings forward another—the 34th short-term extension of this—that would be awful for the country,” Reid said.
