It’s time again for Take Five, when HOH  talks with a member of Congress about topics relatively unrelated to legislative work.

This week, freshman Rep. Ruben Gallego , D-Ariz., talks about his favorite food, baseball and “The Walking Dead.” Q. What’s your favorite cuisine? A. My favorite is Indian food, especially lamb saag and naan. I love naan. Garlic naan is amazing. I could sit and eat naan all day.

Q. If you could be in any other profession, what would it be? A. I would go back to being an active duty Marine.

Q. Do you have any pet peeves? A. It drives me nuts when people aren’t on time.

Q. What’s your favorite piece of pop culture? A. I’m a huge of “The Walking Dead.”

(When asked if he meant the television series or the comics, Gallego elaborated.) The series, not the comics. I haven’t read the comics but now I’ll have to. My favorite character from the show is the guy who’s the outlaw hillbilly who rides the motorcycle. (That would be Daryl Dixon, played by actor Norman Reedus.)

Q. Do you play a sport? A. My favorite sport to play and watch is baseball. [I didn’t play] in the congressional game this year, but I will next year. The last time I probably played was with my nephew last year.
