Senate Reaches Deal on Highway Bill

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., announced an agreement on a six-year reauthorization of highway funding on the Senate floor Tuesday, which they will try to sell to their caucuses at the weekly Senate party lunches. The package provides three years of guaranteed funding for the Highway Trust Fund.
