At his weekly news conference Wednesday, Minority Leader Harry Reid again called for a 60-vote threshold to pass the Iran disapproval resolution, saying it’s up to Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to decide how the Senate will proceed.“Democrats have already proposed that after an appropriate debate, we move to final passage on the Iran resolution,” Reid said. “Senator McConnell can either continue to put procedural hurdles in front of the Iran vote, or he can accept the reality so we can move into [other] important business like funding the government.”
