President Barack Obama didn’t call out Donald Trump by name, but took aim at the slogan on his hat.  

“America is great right now,” the president told CEOs at the Business Roundtable Wednesday morning. That’s a riposte to Trump’s Make America Great Again slogan. Obama said there are things that can be done to make America even better.

The president does agree with one Trump idea: ending the carried interest tax break for hedge-fund managers.  

Obama, again not crediting Trump, said two GOP presidential candidates have proposed doing away with the tax break and said it’s not helping the broader economy.
