Gowdy, Cummings Explode Over Benghazi Transcript

Shortly before the House Select Committee on Benghazi recessed for lunch Thursday, ranking member Elijah E. Cummings, D-Md., challenged Chairman Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., to release the full transcript of Sidney Blumenthal, a longtime confidant to Hillary Rodham Clinton, following a series of questions by Gowdy on the topic. The back-and-forth, which at times veered in to a shouting match between two top committee members, ended abruptly when Gowdy recessed the committee, telling Cummings to “wait until the next round [of questioning]” for more on Blumenthal.
