Reid ‘Confident’ Democrats Will Support Budget

Praising the two-year budget agreement announced yesterday, Minority Leader Harry Reid on Tuesday said he is confident that the vast majority of Senate Democrats would support the deal. “We are not going to deal with vexatious riders,” Reid said. “We feel comfortable and confident that that would violate the sense of this agreement. That’s not what this is about, it’s about getting something done to fund the government.”
