Sen. Tom Cotton has sweet news for followers of his @TomCottonAR account: “ISIS is a treat to America’s security.”

Writing treat instead of “threat” apparently, he added, “RT if you agree!” The Arkansas Republican was retweeted 11 times in three hours, then corrected the tweet to “threat” late Monday afternoon. Cotton, a combat veteran and member of the Intelligence and Armed Services committees, is outspoken about how he thinks the United States should approach taking on the Islamic State.

Earlier in December he told CNN he’s “advocating a much stronger military presence and much stronger American leadership in the fight against the Islamic State.”
