Senate Leaders Remember Dale Bumpers

Following the death of former Sen. Dale Bumpers on Jan. 1, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Minority Leader Harry Reid remembered their long-time colleague on the Senate floor Monday. “Some called Dale Bumpers an improbable senator,” McConnell said. “Others commented on his humor and wit. But what’s clear about this former Senate colleague is that he was larger than life in many ways.”
