Pelosi Pushes Back Against Abortion Criticism

Amid criticism from NARAL Pro-Choice, Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi defended her opposition to “abortion on demand” as discussed in an exclusive interview with Roll Call. “I’ve never supported that,” Pelosi said at a news briefing Wednesday. “But I do believe that inside and outside the Congress we all should be working together to make sure that women have the right to make their own decisions.”
