On Thursday, Sen. Chris Coons, D-Del., tweeted “Dude, where’s my car?”

His black Ford sports utility vehicle had been stolen. By Thursday evening, he posted another tweet: “Dude, that’s my car.”

At 5:30 p.m., a person spotted someone driving the car through a Wilmington, Del., neighborhood, along with another car reported stolen that day.

The person informed the police, who then pulled a marked police car next to the stolen cars. “Numerous juveniles” ran out of the two cars in different directions, according to Delaware Online . The juveniles have not been found.

Coons tweeted his thanks to the Wilmington Police Department.
