Capitol Hill Shooting Suspect Shouts ‘I’m a Prophet of God’ on House Floor

The shooting that took place at the Capitol Visitor Center Monday was not suspect Larry R. Dawson’s first encounter with the Capitol Police. Dawson was previously arrested in October after an outburst in the House chambers, in which he shouted that he was a “prophet of God.” He was charged with unlawful conduct and assaulting a police officer.
