Presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump’s tour of Capitol Hill will include a meeting with Senate Republican leadership on Thursday.

A senior Senate Republican aide said the gathering with Senate GOP leaders is set for 11:45 a.m., Thursday. The presumptive nominee will also meet with Speaker Paul Ryan and House leadership that day.

National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman Roger Wicker, R-Miss., said Monday he is supporting Trump and dismissed questions that Trump’s nomination could cost votes for other Republicans on the ballot.

“I really feel pretty good, actually,”  he said

Trump could face some questions, though from senators, especially with recent remarks supporting a higher minimum wage and higher taxes on businesses.

While forcefully defending Trump’s conservative credentials to reporters, Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama, an early Trump backer , said the presumptive GOP nominee was wrong to reverse his position and endorse a higher minimum wage.
