Trump Uses Bill Clinton’s Accusers in New Ad
'It was an assault,' a woman's voice says of her encounter with former president
Allegations, a cigar and Hillary Clinton’s laugh dominate Donald Trump’s new campaign ad targeting former President Bill Clinton.
The video “Is Hillary really protecting women?” was posted by the presumptive Republican nominee on Instagram on Monday. It opens with an image of the White House which fades into a photograph of the former president with a cigar in his mouth.
Audio recordings of women who have accused Bill Clinton of sexual assault play in the background.
“I was very nervous,” the first voice says.
“No women should be subjected to it, it was an assault,” says the second voice.
And the last one recalls she “tried to pull away from him.”
Hillary Clinton’s laughter ends the video with a photograph of her and Bill Clinton. The caption reads, “Here we go again? ”

Clinton was asked at a campaign stop in New Hampshire in December if her husband’s accusers should be believed after she previously said in a Tweet that “every survivor of sexual assault deserves to be heard, believed, and supported.”
“Well, I would say that everyone should be believed at first until they are disbelieved based on evidence,” she said.

Later that month, with Bill Clinton on the campaign trail for his wife, Trump tweeted that he has “demonstrated a penchant for sexism.”
