Before Thursday night, not a lot of people would put Stephen Curry and Bernie Sanders in the same sentence. But now fans of both are roiling with the same complaint: conspiracy, collusion, complicity.

Golden State and Sanders supporters feel like the system is rigged against them.

Leaked documents  have Sanders supporters feeling vindicated in their claims that the Democratic establishment had the game fixed against their candidate all along. Sanders could never catch Hillary Clinton in the presidential delegate count even as he piled up primary wins.

Meanwhile, Thursday night in Game 6 of the NBA Finals, Curry was ejected  for beaning a court-side fan with his mouth guard. He hurled the saliva trough in frustration after referees penalized him for his sixth and final foul as his team lost in Cleveland.

Curry’s wife immediately took to twitter to complain and said the game was “rigged for money.” She later deleted the comment.

But Sanders’ and Warriros’ fans were perfectly fine with showing their outrage at the system:

Others directly connected the two situations as a way to jab the NBA and DNC.
