Clinton, Trump Cancel Campaign Plans After Dallas Shootings
VP was to make his first appearance with Clinton on campaign trail

In the wake of the shootings in Dallas that targeted and killed five police officers, both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump canceled campaign events on Friday.
Clinton’s campaign postponed an event with Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. in his boyhood home of Scranton, Pennsylvania, that would have been their first joint appearance on the campaign trail.

Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, canceled an appearance in Miami, where he was expected to try to woo Latino voters with a speech on economic opportunity.
Due to the horrific events taking place in our country, I have decided to postpone my speech on economic opportunity- today in Miami.
